Summer Quest PresentationsOn June 13 all students will come to a presentation by the Prince William County Public Library during Encore to learn about the Summer Quest reading program.
June 3: All library books are dueAll library materials need to be returned to the library by June 3.
![]() RIF (Reading is Fundamental)Our last RIF distribution for the 2010-2011 school year will be on June 9. The students will all get to come to the library with their class and choose a book.

Kids InfoBits "This database is designed for students in kindergarten through Grade 5. It features a developmentally appropriate colorful, graphic interface with easy to use subject access to topics like sports, people, arts, science and more.” Password is available from the library. World Book Online World book student and world book kids are recommended for our students. There are other resources including an English-Spanish Encyclopedia. Password is available from the library. CultureGrams "The World Edition provides information on the culture of 182 countries, with information including maps, recipes, photo galleries, and famous people. The States Edition provides information for 50 states and the District of Columbia." Password is available from the library. SIRS Discoverer A large, diverse collection of articles, pictures, and other resources for students find information. The Biography Resource Center A comprehensive database of biographical information on people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death years and places, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search. InfoTrac Kid’s Edition A collection of full-text material designed for primary school students. Includes material from magazines, newspapers and reference books on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, etc. TumbleBook Library TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books licensed from a variety of children’s book publishers. Animation, sound, music and narration have been added to existing picture book stories. Also included in the product are online puzzles, games and a language learning section that includes a selection of books in Spanish and French.
